The Queen’s Birthday Honours List recognises the achievements of a wide range of extraordinary people across the United Kingdom.
The Monarch has been handing out honours since the time of Queen Victoria in recognition for peoples service to the country.
Carol Chorley has been awarded an MBE in recognition for all the time, energy and care she has given to the Sarratt community over the past 30 years. “Congratulations Carol” from Sarratt village.
This really is an oustanding honour to receive and so thoroughly well deserved!!
Carol was also one of only six people selected in the whole county of Hertfordshire to attend the Royal Wedding at Windsor in May. She had a front row view of all the guests arriving for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s special day.
