Henry Moore is one of the most popular and important British sculptors of the 20th century. He revolutionised the way people thought about the human figure and sculpture and made beautiful forms that grew out of his love for the landscape. Inspired by the art of the past and other cultures, Moore created a new language of sculpture.
Guests are welcome to attend this revealing lecture which explores Henry Moore’s life and works as well as the vibrant artistic world of mid-20th century Britain.
