We are going to start with Green Book.
This multiple Oscar winning film is the true story of Dr Don Shirley, a world-class African-American pianist, about to embark on a concert tour in the Deep South in 1962. In need of a driver and protection, Shirley recruits Tony Lip, a tough-talking bouncer from an Italian-American neighbourhood in the Bronx. Despite their differences, the two men develop an unexpected bond while confronting racism and danger in an era of segregation.
As ever Dennis will be cooking Supper at Seven. We will be having pork in a cream sauce with roasted vegetables.
Doors open at 7pm and the film will start at 8pm.
Prices are still unchanged! Entry will be by £5 donation and supper will also be £5.
There will be a bar.
