ARTISTS AND MAKERS FAIR COMES TO CHORLEYWOOD FOR FIRST TIME
A must for all design devotees who care about how and where things are made, Sally Evans’ Artists and Makers Fair will be coming to Chorleywood for the first time. Taking place on Saturday 22 September in Chorleywood Memorial Hall, Sally’s event promises to be a feast for the eyes with gorgeous handmade work for show and sale by 28 highly skilled local artists and makers.
From beautiful hand-built ceramics, fused glass, textiles, lampshades, millinery, quirky mixed media creations, portraiture and photography to paintings, jewellery, weaving, embroidery, and bespoke leather goods, the event celebrates a broad array of creativity where visitors can absorb themselves in some of the very best in local contemporary art and craftsmanship.
Sally Evans, who has been running Artists and Makers fairs for 14 years, sets high standards for the quality of work on show: “This isn’t another typical craft fair, I carefully handpick talented artists & designer makers who are skilful, engaged with what they do and like talking to the public and whose work I think is interesting, different, high quality yet fairly priced/affordable. “
Sally continues: “With all work available to buy it’s a wonderful opportunity to enliven the artwork on display in your home or to buy a stylish gift for yourself, family or friend direct from artists who really care about the work they have created!”
Sally also holds events in Thame Town Hall, Princes Risborough Community Centre and Haddenham’s Bradmoor Farm. Visit the website for more details. http://www.sallyevansevents.
