Revelations of Divine Love

A musical meditation based on the writings of the fourteenth-century Christian mystic, Julian of Norwich. On her deathbed, Julian experienced sixteen mystical visions, and after a miraculous recovery she wrote about them, including contemplations of the love of God. Her ‘Revelations of Divine Love’ claims to be the first published book in English to be written by a woman. This evening combines music, dance, and story-telling to convey the beauty of her writings.
