Luke Jones Furniture was established in 2005 by husband and wife team, Luke and Lucy Jones. Having studied furniture design and fine art at university in Wales it seemed a natural progression to start making a living doing what they love.
Stairs, balustrades, window frames and roof joists are not what Luke Jones Furniture are about. There are some great joinery companies out there who do a cracking job on this stuff. We solely concentrate on furniture, be it fitted or freestanding, as we believe that’s what we’re best at. By staying true to our original ideas about Luke Jones Furniture we have become a leader in our field and we take real pride in our bespoke work.
The business started in a porta-cabin with “rustic” toilet facilities, and thankfully moved to the converted barn and workshop in Chipperfield a few years later. Whilst you will usually find them in our showroom these days, they do still occasionally spend a few days in the workshop. Having such close working relationships with our skilled team of designers and craftsmen, means that we are able to offer an attention to detail way above and beyond that offered by most others.
