Welcome to the website of the Sarratt and District U3A in the Three Rivers District Council area of Hertfordshire.
The University of the Third Age (U3A) was founded in 1982. It is a self-help educational organisation made up of independent groups run by its members. The members are usually semi or fully retired and come together to pursue and share skills, knowledge and hobbies with each other.

Sarratt & District U3A was formed in January 2007 and now has a membership of 300. New members are welcome as it gives a fresh inpetus to the branch’s activities. Currently there are over 30 study groups which are listed on the ‘Groups’ page.
We meet monthly at 10.30. on a Wednesday morning in Sarratt Village Hall. The dates are listed on the ‘Events’ page with details of speakers. Invited speakers talk on a wide variety of subjects, many of local interest. Visitors are welcome to come to these meetings to gain an insight into our activities.
