One of the most luxurious country house hotels in Hertfordshire, we are on the border with Buckinghamshire, close to Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Beaconsfield, Rickmansworth and Gerrards Cross.

We offer 18 superbly furnished bedrooms in the main house (traditional style) and in the coachhouse (modern style). You can have your lunch, dinner and your drinks in our newly designed bar, in our famous oak-panelled restaurant (widely considered the finest in the area) or in the private dining Chess Room.

We have a license for civil weddings and christenings accommodating up to 55 guests in the oak-panelled Room. Also we have a marquee for receptions for up to 150 guests.
