The weather predictions were against us and so the Coronation Celebrations were moved to the village hall…..
What a great turn out!! The dog show went ahead, fancy dress, Art Exhibition and lots of fun was had by so many.
The BBQ sold out and the Pop up community Cafe served more than 200 teas and cake and thanks to all the fantastic cake bakers they didn’t run out.
Despite the weather the Falconry display did not disappoint. Such a treat to see the amazing birds!
The Sarratt community groups all gave their best and the Scouts led the way on the day helping out and sharing all that they do.
King Charles was hoping that the Big Help Out would encourage more people to volunteer in their community.
Based on today the future looks bright. There are so many opportunities for all to get involved and also to meet new friends and generally help out!
The sun was definitely shining in the village hall today…..
