Sarratt Youth club
Sarratt Youth Club met for the first time in 18 months with new Youth Leader Sarah Hickles.
Over 20 children old and new attended with bright smiles.
Sarah wanted the first session to be a relaxed open session, in which the group really enjoyed. Football, badminton, table tennis, table football and pool were played. Before we sat and discussed what we would like to do and achieve moving forward.
The group asked for cookery sessions, talent shows, sport challenges, silent disco and more in the hall. And requested trips to climbing walls, bowling, trampolining, liquid leisure.
The management group will continue to lead the direction of the group and of course if any parents or DOE members are looking for their volunteer opportunity this would be an ideal place to do this.
Thank you to Pete Thorpe for his leadership of the group for the past 4 years and welcome to Sarah Hickles who takes on the mantle.
If your children would like to join STAG please see below:
Sarratt Youth Group resumes in Sarratt Hall from Sunday the 12th of September from 6-8pm. All 11-16 year olds in the Sarratt Parish are welcome.
New members will need a parent to complete a form at the beginning of the meeting. We intend to follow a similar format, sports and organised activities from 6-7. Followed by tuck shop and free time to use the equipment, beanbags and socialise. We will also do external trips bowling, trampolining etc.
Volunteers also required so please do get in touch.
